Sr. Application Developer

As the Senior Application Developer in the Mobile Application Development Team, you will have the opportunity to drive the technology and engineering direction from the ground up, take on all aspects of development work and collaborate with the core business team to meet customer demand at Rose Eldercare Services.

What You’ll Do at Rose Eldercare Services

• Lead and be accountable for overall application development, coding and package configuration, peer reviews and code quality.
• Participate in process improvement efforts, track performance against team goals, and provide secondary support toward the installation of application releases to production.
• Lead design reviews with Architecture, Product and other developers to ensure common understanding and alignment.
• Maintain communications with development managers, solution leads and business unit partners.
• Provide high-level solution estimates.
• Provide 3rd level Production support, including after-hours as required.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in micro services with a solid ability to translate business needs into an efficient micro service model.
• Tenured experience with CI/CD & Pipeline Development.
• Proven experience implementing on DevOps and Cloud Solutions (GCP, Azure, Docker and Kubernetes).
• Strong Service Layer Experience: Spring Boot, REST, SOAP, OAuth2, API Gateway Experience (ex. Apigee).
• Good understanding and working experience with: JavaScript, python , Spring .
• Experience implementing source control into auto-deployment.
• Experience with Application Monitoring/Alerting solutions and investigation tools (ex. Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
• Experience with GitLab, GIT, Jenkins or Bitbucket and Batch Processing.
• Knowledge and Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
